Turn Your Kitchen Into One Of The Modern Kitchens of Buffalo

If your kitchen has you feeling "meh," let us help you turn it into one of the modern kitchens of Buffalo. We hear it often at Kinetic Kitchens. Chefs, moms, dads...they all walk into our showroom and tell us how uninspired they are. They want to feel inspired to cook like they do when they watch Chopped. It's hard to feel inspired with outdated cabinets or with a counter top that looks like it's from the mid-80's.

Often times, our customers are stuck. Most people hear the words "kitchen remodel" and think big bucks. That doesn't have to be the case. In fact, some really drastic changes can occur with relatively inexpensive fixes.

Paint your kitchen

Give your kitchen a fresh coat of paint!

Paint

We've all witnessed the transformation a room goes through when a room is repainted. Even if it's painted the same color it was originally, the color is more vibrant! The sun can take its toll on the interior of our homes just as well as the exterior. For spring 2018, it's all about a pop of color. Nothing too drastic - the beauty is in the accessories.

Many of our customers love the look of white cabinetry. This season, warm gray is the new white. Your kitchen could look like it's been through complete remodel simply by putting a couple of coats of paint on your already existing cabinetry.

If you decide to go ahead and paint the cabinets, chances are you're going to need to upgrade the cabinet hardware as well. A carefully selected cabinet pull can completely transform the look of the cabinets.

Update your backsplash

Going back to the pop of color that's on trend for this season - a backsplash could be a perfect place to make your kitchen stand out. The nice part is: It doesn't have to cost a lot of money either. The backsplash is also a great place to add some character to your kitchen. It can truly be the one change that makes your former farm kitchen into one of  the modern kitchens of Buffalo that everyone wants!

Lighting

While canned lights are certainly functional, they hardly provide the warm and fuzzy feeling you want when you walk into an inviting kitchen. If you still are reading recipes or chopping vegetables by florescent lights, it's time for an update for sure. No matter how much updating you do, you're not going to be one of the modern kitchens of Buffalo with florescent lighting.

Counter tops

This is that part people dread next to the cost of new cabinets. What will the counter tops cost? Many of our customers want the luxury look of granite, but they know the price tag that goes along with granite is too hefty. While we love the beauty of granite and marble countertops, there are certainly benefits that go along with choosing an alternative to natural materials.

Due to the popularity of natural materials being used in kitchen countertops, Formica has responded with a fantastic alternative. While Formica is absolutely less expensive, that doesn't mean it has to be any less visually appealing. There are now Formica countertops that have been fabricated to mimic stone countertops.

As you can see, sometimes it's the little things that make all the difference. A fresh coat of paint, a few new door handles or pulls, a backsplash to add a little pizzaz and voila! All of a sudden, your kitchen that once was "meh" is now one of the modern kitchens of Buffalo.
